Club Lotus Track day 2008 was held on Saturday 24th May. Attendance this year was down on previous years. We weren't sure whether it was due to the very high fuel prices at the moment, or the BBC weather forecast, which had predicted showers. However, the weather on the day was fantastic and there was a great turn out of Esprit's. due to organisation of Lotusespritforum.com. Jon Rotheram had his orange Lotus Esprit V8 Racer on display. You can read more on his car here: Clicky . And Rob C's Esprit S350 was also there, with a modified 500 bhp engine. The Historic Lotus Register displayed a number of rare Lotus's, including a very rare Lotus Type 6 shown above.
