The Club Lotus Festival was held at Donington on 17th & 18th March, 2007. I attended on Sunday 18th, arriving at around 9am. Attendance was down a little on the Sunday, due to the date coinciding with Mother's Day! There were plenty of Esprit's in the Lotus only car park, at the front of the Exhibition hall, but the mixed weather saw most people inside the hall. Outside the hall, there was a concours Lotus Esprit S2 JPS on display. Inside the Exhibition hall featured some interesting Lotus's, including a display of 3 Type 47 racers. In addition, there was a fully restored white John Miles Type 47 exhibited too, which won it's class at the BOAC 500 in 1967. There was also the World Championship winning Graham Hill Type 49B in Gold Leaf colours and the JPS Lotus Type 79. Lotus Esprit Forum and Lotus Esprit World joined forces, running a stand at the show.
